Volunteer Stories: Giving “Binkies”

The Rabbit Rescue Center, based in Rock Hall, Maryland provides care for over twenty some rabbits. The shelter space is small but volunteers who work there make the most of it, feeding the bunnies a healthy diet, cleaning cages, grooming regularly and providing rotational play time in a large pen. “We all love to see our rabbits ‘binky’.”, says Deborah Guthrie, a dedicated volunteer who has been with the organization since its founding in 2015.
